Lost again... Zero points on eightteen is coming close. Though the game wasn't that bad yesterday, but all chances were missed. Also the few defensive mistakes are a problem. A few reactions:

Hugo Broos wasn't that unhappy. He thought his team played well. "We even could have won."
"We played a good game and that's what we'll have to remember from this game. We were able to keep the ball in the team and create a few chances. But Valencia scored out of two mistakes in the defense."
"This game was one of our best. That should give of confidence for the coming league games. I hope we can make a come-back on Club Brugge."

Pär Zetterberg: "We played better than in our lastest games, but they score twice out of the two chances they got. It's hard to win some points that way. When Valencia scored their second goal, they pulled back the whole team to defend. That made it even more difficult. 0 on 15: you don't get used to losing. Bad!"

Yves Vanderhaeghe: "We were impressed after that goal in the second half. We thought we were going to win. We fought until the end and already made less mistakes. We were better than Valencia, so the defeat is painful."

Vincent Kompany: "I'm disappointed. This was a new lesson for me: you can't always win. Take a look at those zero points and everything will become clear. It's useless to waste more words on it."

Olivier Deschacht: "Almost... That has been the story of the Champions League. Anderlecht were able to push Valencia back for 90 minutes and yet we lose. We had more chances and ball possession. A pitty because no one will remember our good football now."
