VRT has lost the TV-rights for the Champions League. As of September 2006 until 2009, the Vlaamse Media Maatschappij (VTM and Kanaaltwee) may broadcast European football matches.
Matches of season 2005-2006 are still to be watched on the public broadcasting corporation.
