2-0 victory for Anderlecht

Club Bruges will have to play under more pressure tomorrow against Standard. Anderlecht didn't lose any points today. They defeated Lokeren with 2-0. They are only 3 points behind Bruges now, after 6 wins in a row.


They match started very slowly, but Anderlecht had a few good chances. Tihinen made a good header, and goalkeeper Milojevic needed a good save after a good shot by Yves Vanderhaeghe. After about half an hour, Christian Wilhelmsson opened the score: 1-0

Lokeren could have given Anderlecht a hard time, but Bancé's header didn't get the right direction. Anderlecht controled the match, without any danger. Jestrovic scored the 2-0 after a penalty kick. Van Steenberghe avoided the 2-1 in the final minutes.
