Anderlecht have lost points again. The Mauves didn't come any further than a weak 2-2 draw in Westerlo. After opening the score, the team couldn't hold on to the high pace and took 2 goals. Mpenza made the late equaliser.

RSCA, without Baseggio in the selection, started well with an early goal of Tihinen. He headed the ball in on a free kick: 0-1. Two minutes later, Westerlo equalised through Untaka. The Anderlecht defense, and especially Vanden Borre and De Man, was caught napping. The Westerlo striker took advantage of it: 1-1.
Not more than 60 seconds later, they scored again. De Man made a mistake and Brosque brought Westerlo one up: 2-1.

Anderlecht could react and Vercauteren swapped Vanden Borre for Lovre. The few good chances the Mauves had, were all missed.
Eight minutes before time, Mpenza (who had replaced Deschacht) brought Anderlecht on equal level again: 2-2. Suddenly, the Brussels' team woke up and pushed Westerlo back. Jestrovic missed the winning goal for inches, so the final result was 2-2.
