Anderlecht defeated Mons with a 2-1 score. Man of the match was referee Bourdouxhe who totally lost his grip over the game. He also gave Aruna a red card in his last match for Anderlecht, for an unexplainable reason.

The game started at low pace. Kompany and Zetterberg started on the bench. Vanderhaeghe was placed in the defense.

Jestrovic got a few good chances, but missed them all. Aruna opened the score for Anderlecht with a nice goal: 1-0.

Mons didn't want to give up and tried to take control over the midfield, without creating chances.

After the break, Milas surprisingly equalised after a mistake of Deschacht. Anderlecht, with 10 after the red card of Aruna, tried to score again. They succeeded shortly before time from the penalty spot: Jestrovic 2-1.
