Good news for Aruna Dindane. John Utaka is close to an agreement with Rennes. That way, Aruna could take his place with Lens. This development will probably speed up the negociations between the French club and Anderlecht.

Aruna's manager Trimpont claims that the current situation won't change: "Lens are already interested for 3 months. A departure of Utaka won't influence the situation. It all depends on Aruna himself. He has to decide. Five clubs are interested, including a few big ones. There were also a few bids from Russia, but a transfer to that league is out of the question."

The Anderlecht striker is in Ivory Coast at the moment to prepare an interland (against Egypt).
