Herman Van Holsbeeck tried yesterday to call La Louvière's president Filippo Gaone, without success. Gaone has said the price for Proto was €1.2 million and not €1 million.

If nothing changes, it is reported that Anderlecht would take La Louvière to court. Proto's contract with La Louvière (until 2006) states that Silvio is allowed to leave his club for €625.000.

"I no longer want to leave messages in his mailbox", said Van Holsbeeck. "I hope to finalise this business for today. This is a necessity because Gaone is going on a business trip this weekend".

"I do not want to talk about the transfer sum, but we will not pay more than our last offer. Whether this story can fail? If this is the case, then I will organise a press conference and I will explain in a very detailed way how the Proto-file is. You can tell whatever you want, our behaviour was good".

Will Proto start officially with Anderlecht anyway next Saturday? "It is a bit early", argues Van Holsbeeck. "He will probably be with us, but I do not think he will play. Maybe next Tuesday against Neftchi, but it is our coach who has to take such decisions."
