"Trip to Azerbeidjan more difficult than the opponent"

As already announced, Anderlecht have to play against PFC Neftchi Bakoe from Azerbeidjan in the second Champions League qualification round. Anderlecht manager Herman Van Holsbeeck isn't worried at all.


"We scouted Neftchi twice against Hafnarfjördur. We can easily beat them", explained Van Holsbeeck. "I'm more worried about the trip to Azerbeidjan. If you want to reach Bakoe, you'll have to do that via Frankfurt. That's more than 7 hours on an airplane. We'll try to charter a plane and bring down the travel time to 5 hours."
