Dabizas will probably sign

It looks like the Greek international Nikos Dabizas (31) is close to a deal with Anderlecht. "I had a good talk with trainer Franky Vercauteren. It was my fellow countryman Anastasiou who recommended Anderlecht", said the player.


"This is a great club, famous in Europe. I hope that the transfer can go on", Dabizas concluded.

Pär Zetterberg, who played for Olympiakos, knows Dabizas. "He was training with Olympiakos before he went to Newcastle. He has a good mentality and is well known in Greece", the Swede said.

The negociations will continue this week. Dabizas will undergo some medical tests today. It's expected that he'll sign a contract in the next few days. Also Mallorca and Getafe are interested in Nikos Dabizas.
