Anderlecht are qualified for the Champions League. The Mauves beat Slavia Prague with 0-2 after winning the first leg two weeks ago with 2-1. De Man reinforced the defense, Zetterberg started on the bench.

Anderlecht started rather weak and Slavia put the Belgians under pressure. Though they didn't come any further than a few corner kicks. Slowly, Anderlecht restored balance in the game and created a few chances. Serhat was close to a goal when he had an open chance. His shot was too hard and went over the bar.

In the second half, Slavia continued to find it hard to breach the Belgian side's defense. Though Serhat Akin almost opened the scoring in the opening minutes of the second half but watched his shot from a Goor cross go just wide of the Slavia post as Anderlecht showed renewed intent. At the other end Martin Latka could have put Slavia ahead on the night had his head made contact with a Lukáš Jarolím cross.

But the Belgian side's greater menace overall was rewarded after 72 minutes when Serhat scored and sealed the qualification. The striker was sent clear by Wilhelmsson and rifled the ball in the nets.

Mpenza even doubled the scoreline when Akin created an opening for him. The Belgian international lifted the ball over goalkeeper Kozácik: 0-2, the final result.
