New stadium will be built in Neerpede

Anderlecht have concrete plans to build a new stadium. The stadium will be constructed in Neerpede and have 45,000 seats and 5,000 business-seats. Also the Belgian Football Organisation is interested in the project.


The whole construction will cost around 100 million euro. A serious investment, but Roger Vanden Stock believes in it. He counts on investors, the club and the government.

Chairman of the Belgian Football Organisation, Jan Peeters, already asked some information about the project. He wants to use the stadium for games of the Red Devils.

Neerpede was chosen as location. The Royal Amicale Anderlecht Golf Club will have to disappear for the stadium, but that doesn't seem to be a problem.
