Chelsea-coach José Mourinho was very negative about the performance of Anderlecht in Chelsea. But Franky Vercauteren gave him a sharp answer. "That is just a way to keep the pressure away from Chelsea", he told the newspapers.

"Mourinho, with all of his stars, had to play against a small Belgian team. He just does not want to admit that we made it a tough game for them. But if the king of the offensive soccer tells something like that, we have to accept that of course", Vercauteren laughed.

"If I told someone that a good game doesn't interest me, and that I only want to obtain a good result, they would shoot me down in Belgium. But it's okay for Mourinho."

"But I don't want a war with Mourinho. I just don't play his game. He does that every time, it's his style. I know I always stay the same person. I can't say that about Mourinho. I only see what I see. I saw Chelsea playing against Tottenham and Sunderland. And I can't say that were exciting games..."

"He is not interested in his collegues. He only thinks about himself and his team. It is normal when you see his curriculum vitae. If that is nice of him? I really don't care."
