Kompany needs two weeks of rest

Franky Vercauteren wants Vincent Kompany to be 100% fit again. Therefore, the defender will not play against Brussels and Roeselare. He underwent an echo of his back yesterday.


Today, the defender will have to return to the hospital. He still has teeth problems. Vercauteren wants Kompany to be ready for the CL-game against Betis Sevilla.

"Kompany still has to train individually. But he has to get rid of all those small injuries", the coach said.
