Anderlecht scout Derek Riordan

According to the British press, Anderlecht would be interested in the Scottish striker Derek Riordan. This international plays for Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League, and is known as the best Scottish striker.


Riordan measures 1.80 meter and weighs 65 kg. He plays for Hibernian since 2001, and played one season on loan for Crowdenbeath. Riordan has netted 46 goals in the past two seasons. He could make a move to Cardiff City in August. That team offered 1.1 million euros. Hibernian agreed, but Derek Riordan refused the offer.

Since that day, the striker is unwanted to Hibs-manager Tony Mowbray. So it seems like Hibernian would not make any problem of a transfer. Anderlecht have given Werner De Raeve the task to scout the 22-year-old striker. Maybe a bid in the transfer window of January will follow.
