The game between RSC Anderlecht and Club Bruges has finished in a 2-2 draw. Anderlecht are now three points behind Standard and six points in front of Bruges.

Anderlecht started the game very motivated and with pace. They held Bruges under pressure and the defenders had many difficulties. Four yellow cards for Bruges was the result. But they did not have any real chances.

Club Bruges started to play better then. Anderlecht had more ball possession, but Bruges were dangerous on counter attacks. However, it was Anderlecht that scored first. Serhat Akin scored a tremendous goal after an assist by Pär Zetterberg.

The second half started furious. Sven Vermant scored the equaliser, but some minutes after that goal Serhat Akin made his second goal: 2-1. Bruges seemed to lose grip on the game, but Gert Verheyen managed to score the 2-2.

Anderlecht kept searching for the victory. Wilhelmsson was dangerous, Mbo Mpenza missed a great opportunity. In the final minutes, a goal by Serhat Akin was falsly judged as an offside. So the game ended on a 2-2 draw.
