Anderlecht still have zero points. The Mauves lost tonight in Liverpool with 3-0. With 11 defeats in a row, the future doesn't look too bright. Anderlecht coach Franky Vercauteren reacted: "Yet I can't be unhappy".
It looks like Anderlecht have become a club without ambition, but Vercauteren continues: "The guys played with a lot of good will. We were the equal of Liverpool in the first 35 minutes, but you have to admit that they were better from then on."
"About Jestrovic' red card? I don't know what happened. Apparently he said something. I'll talk to Nielsen after the game, but every one knows that he isn't our best friend. The red card doesn't matter. Liverpool were better even when we were still playing with 11."
"We have a lot of work to do. We aren't able to compete with top-clubs, and that's our goal."
