Anderlecht did what it had to do tonight: they won with 3-0 and have a 5 point's lead on Club Bruges. It was a very exciting game, with three red cards: one for Anderlecht, and two for Lierse.

The match started with an injury for Juhasz and many opportunities for Lierse. The referee was very criticised, because he did not see a penalty foul by Deschacht and an interference with the hand by goalkeeper Silvio Proto. After 42 minutes, Kacic and Wilhelmsson both received a red card after a quarrel between the two players.

After the break, Lierse got tired and Anderlecht raised the pressure. That pressure resulted in a goal by Bart Goor, and later the 2-0 was a fact after a subtle header by Nicolas Frutos. Karel Snoeckx had already received a red card then, after a foul on Yves Vanderhaeghe. Pär Zetterberg made the third goal on the penalty spot. Mission accomplished...
