Anderlecht have lost points against Lokeren tonight. After a difficult game, both sides scored once. Anderlecht deserved the victory, but Lokeren's defense was too hard to break down.

The game began bad for Brussels' club. After only 10 minutes, striker Nicolas Frutos had to be replaced due to an injury. Mpenza took his place.
For a while, nothing happened until Tihinen devided a shot and made the ball disappear in his own goal: 0-1.

Anderlecht weren't able to react. They tried to put some attacks together, but the last pass never reached the strikers. After half an hour, the ball reached Serhat Akin and his effort disappeared in the lower left corner, leaving goalkeeper Milojevic without standing a chance: 1-1.

In the second half, Anderlecht had the intention to keep the three points home. Lokeren needed a lot of faults to keep the Mauves away from their goal. De Man had the best chance to bring the home side ahead, but he missed from close range in front of an open goal.

The pressure lasted until the last second of the game, but so did Lokeren's resistance.
