Vanderhaeghe: "Delighted that I can stay"

Winning the championship was very important to Yves Vanderhaeghe, because it means that he can stay one more year in Anderlecht now. "I'm delighted with this new contract. I will stay here for sure", reacted Vanderhaeghe.


"When the board told me I would only get a contract if we won the title, my future didn't look bright. I had to sit on the bench very often", explains the midfielder. "But Kompany's injury was a good thing for me. From that moment on, I played all the time and I was able to help Anderlecht winning the title. It's great I can stay here for another year. We'll see next season whether I will play or not", said Vanderhaeghe.
