There is another part in the soap around the successor of Jan Peeters as chairman of the Belgian Football Federation. It looks as if the team will choose for the happy medium in the end.

The plan is now to make Roger Vanden Stock chairman of the KBVB, but to give all the power to two Chief Executive Officers, namely Michel Preud'homme and Jean-Marie Philips.

However, not all parties are happy with this construction. "The teams already voted against Vanden Stock, and I want to receive the same wages as Michel Preud'homme", reacted Philips. The final decision will be made on June 24.
