The new Argentinian player Lucas Biglia was presented to the press today. "This player is maybe too good for the Belgian competition. This transfer is all because of Frutos", reacted manager Herman Van Holsbeeck.

"I can't say much about this player", explained the manager. "His CV says it all." Biglia was very positive about his new team. "I want to adapt to Belgium as soon as possible. That's why I'm coming back to Belgium on 5 June. Nicolas Frutos told me many interesting things about Belgium."

"Anderlecht is a big step forward for me", said the Argentinian midfielder. "But I'm ready for it. I'm old and mature enough. I look forward to playing the Champions League. I really want to help Anderlecht, but myself too of course. It's still my big dream to play in Italy or Spain."

The 20-year-old talent prefers to play in the centre of the midfield, but he is can play on the wings as well. He will play with shirt number five, this means Roland Juhasz will get another number. He signed a contract for four years with a clause for an extra season. "He did not cost three million euros, but it was a large amount of money anyway. I'm confident he is worth it", said Van Holsbeeck about the transfer fee.
