"We don't want Baseggio to go to Standard"

There are three options left for Walter Baseggio. Or he stays in Italy, or he returns to Anderlecht, or he makes a move to Standard. The story goes that Anderlecht would transfer Baseggio to Liège if Boussoufa comes to Brussels.


However, that rumous is not true according to the Anderlecht board. "We talked with Standard, but we would not appreciate it if Baseggio went to Standard. He can stay in Italy, or return to Anderlecht."
