Nice transfer sum for Kompany

Some supporters think that the transfer sum for Kompany was not high enough, but it seems Anderlecht got a lot of money for the defender. According to DH, the final amount would be of 15 million euro.

The Germans are said to have given 10.5 million euro to Anderlecht. Moreover, Hamburg will have to give extra money to Anderlecht if they can qualify for the Champions League and if they win the German Championship.

Van Holsbeeck says: "They came in the first place with a bod of 6 million. I told them it was not sufficient. They came back with a much more interesting bod. Given the player wanted to go away, the transfer was therefore rapidly winded up".
