Baseggio to Italy

Finally the decision is made, Walter Baseggio will play for Treviso next season. Anderlecht and the Italian club reached an agreement today and in the next few days he will sign his contract.

Normally Treviso will go to the serie B, but they might stay in serie A because of the bribe scandal at some big Italian clubs.

The midfielder lost his way and could leave the club. He still had a contract until 2008. It was always a dream of Baseggio to play in Italy.
