Walter Baseggio hasn’t been lucky at Treviso. The club in the Serie B has only 10 points out of 10 games. “I’ve found a mental and physical balance for myself”, said Walter Baseggio.

“I feel good, Treviso is great and there are a lot of shops here” Baseggio is still a player of Anderlecht until June 2007. “What will happen after that is a question for me. Maybe I’ll stay at Treviso. Standard was interested but that was not concrete. I miss playing at the highest level. I miss the top games. I miss the Red Devils, I miss the Belgian competition and I miss the Champions League with Anderlecht”, said Walt frustrated.

“Suddenly I wasn’t important anymore at Anderlecht. I was my fault but also the fault of the trainer. He didn’t my way of playing, but I don’t think that you have to able to run a lot as a modern player. It’s more important that you can play with the ball”, said Baseggio.

“I have no problems with Anderlecht. I’ve become a great player at Anderlecht. The fans loved me. It’s my biggest wish to come back to Anderlecht one day. I’ve found the right balance thanks to my wife and my daughter. If you have no mentally problems the rest follows automatically. René Vandereycken can count on me”, said Baseggio.
