Anderlecht managed to win at home with 2-0 from Cercle Brugge, 16th in the ranglist. Because of this victory Anderlecht stays on the trail of Genk but has 5 points less. Genk stays the leader with 32 points.
The first 15 minutes of the game we’re not interesting at all. Both teams didn’t use much energy but everything changed when Mbo Mpenza scored his first goal of this season. Anderlecht was the best team after the goal but couldn’t score anymore before the half-time.

In the 68th minute Lucas Biglia gave an assist to Boussoufa and he kicked the ball hard next to Vandendriessche. 2-0 Anderlecht. Anderlecht was now master on the field and searched for chances. Hassan got the best chance on the 3-0 at the end of the game but he missed.2-0 was the final result.
