Anderlecht have beaten Roeselare with 3-2. That way, the Mauves come back to four points on leader Racing Genk, that lost points after a 2-2 draw. It was an easy victory for the Mauves, who created a lot of chances.
The game started with an early goal. After 10 minutes, Boussoufa opened the score on a free kick. But a few minutes later, Defoor equalised with a header on a corner kick.

In the second half, Roeselare had a lot of difficulties. They were pinned down before their own goal. Anderlecht created chance after chance. It was Tchité who scored the 3-1 with a great goal. With his back towards the goal, he collected the ball in the box. He turned and put the ball in the nets.
After that, Van Damme, Mpenza, Tchité and Boussoufa were all close to a goal, but it was Roeselare that scored on one of their rare counter attacks: 3-2 after 88 minutes of play. This was also the final result.
