RSC Anderlecht played a good last game, but trainer Franky Vercauteren realises that the team's performance should be a lot higher. Though he's happy about the first leg of the league.

"We played a good last game before the winter break. I hope we'll be stronger in January, after some rest. We have a young team and their was a lot of pressure. It cost us points", Vercauteren said.

Mark De Man: "We never played well, but we are still at three points of Genk."
Olivier Deschacht: "The result is always the most important. It's of great importance that we take the three points, even if we play bad."
Mémé Tchité: "There were a lot of bad passes and we lost confidance. Also last week we played bad. The second half was a lot better. We stayed calm and scored several times."
Vanderhaeghe: "After the 1-0, we started defending the lead in stead of trying to double it. That has been our biggest handicap during this season. But we won..."
