Despite the heavy criticism in today's newspapers, Anderlecht and it's coach Vercauteren have reached an agreement about a new contract. Vercauteren will now remain coach until june of 2008.
At the end of the 2007-2008 season, Vercauteren will step down as Anderlecht coach, but will remain attached to the club. It is assumed he will then take on the function of technical director.
