Since Nicolas Pareja has become a central defender he has been playing better and better. But he's a defender who likes to dribble and the trainer does not always like that.

"The trainer does not always like what I do", says Pareja in Het Nieuwsblad. "But only kicking balls away is not my thing. I like to dribble. In Argentina I played like this the whole time. But I have adapted a bit, you don't have to take too many risks."

After a tough beginning, Pareja has been playing better and better. "I needed some time to adapt, you have to get to know the other defenders. Now I have more faith in what I do, and I have done things I was afraid to do before the winter break."
