Sterchele isn't coming, Van Holsbeeck has alternative

François Sterchele is not coming to Anderlecht. The Mauves made the striker a good offer on Friday. It's said that the striker could tripple his wage in Brussels, but he didn't accept it.


Meanwhile, manager Van Holsbeeck already responded on the disapppointment: "We don't want a player that isn't completely focussed on Anderlecht. We are working on an alternative already."

Standard and several foreign clubs have also showed interest in Sterchele.
