Vercauteren: "I knew Frutos needed an operation"

In contradiction to what was earlier announced, Nicolas Frutos will be out until September. "We already knew from last season Frutos had a foot injury, but the operation couldn't be done earlier" Vercauteren said.


"The doctors thought the problem would go away by resting. But when Frutos still felt pain when he resumed trainings, I knew an operation was needed."
