Vercauteren is ambitious

Like every year, coach Frank Vercauteren is very ambitious for the oncoming season. He wants to win the Championship, the Belgian Cup, and he wants to go to the second group stage of the Champions League.


"I am very happy that most players stayed", Vercauteren reacted. "That is difficult for Anderlecht every year, but we did a great job. I'm very thankful to the Anderlecht board. The most serious changes are in our technical staff, we have Ariël Jacobs and Filip De Wilde now. We have 24 players in our squad at the moment. I would like to have some extra players, but we will see what is possible", the coach stated.
