Interview with Raymond Mommens

Raymond Mommens is the newest Anderlecht scout. He came from Charleroi, where he brought many new talents to Belgium. He was the discoverer of François Sterchele and this season he brought Cyril Théréau to Anderlecht.


Mommens states that he does not have a real schedule in Anderlecht. He only receives the task to search players for certain positions. Furthermore he says that it is very important that Anderlecht have an agreement with Union to let their young talents play for Union on trial. Raymond Mommens is obsessed with his profession and wants to see every player more than ten times before making an agreement with the player himself.
