Van Holsbeeck: "Missing Champions League would hurt financially&q

Manager Van Holsbeeck has expressed his annoyance about the fact that the three Argentinians might be ruled out for Wednesday's game against Fenerbahçe. Both Biglia and Pareja are still in doubt while Frutos is ruled out.


"Just imagine, one tries to build a team and invests quite a lot to attract high profile players and then it appears they are all ruled out," said the manager in Het Nieuwsblad. "Not qualifying for the Champions League would hurt us financially. The last couple of years we used the CL money to contract players like Frutos, Biglia and Polak. It would be tough to pull off without that money."
