Vanholsbeeck about Clement

Both Jelle Van Damme and Philippe Clement of Club Bruges weren’t allowed to play this weekend. But Clement played along with his team and he even score a goal against KV Mechelen.


There won’t be a complaint from the other teams, like agreed earlier. But still Van Holsbeeck is frustrated because Clement scored: “Bruges had an advantage that we did not have.”

“It’s nice for Clement that he scored, but this can’t become an issue between Anderlecht and Bruges. We are already satisfied that there is an agreement between the different Belgian clubs.”
