Reactions after the game

Anderlecht was playing sub par and could never pose a threat to the Turks. Biglia tried to turn the tide, but it was hard doing that all by himself. Here are a few reactions.


Jelle Van Damme: "They were just more efficient than us. During the halftime break we still believed in the qualification, but the ball just didn't want to go in..."

Olivier Deschacht: "The best team won. Giving away two goals like that learns us that we are not ready for the Champions League. We weren't concentrated enough and made a huge mistake on that first goal."

Daniel Zitka: "We didn't score a single goal, but they scored three against us. We simply don't belong in the Champions League. No one wants the Uefa Cup, everyone was focused on the Champions League."
