UEFA Cup: First home, then away

Anderlecht will play against Rapid Wien at home first and later follows the away game in Austria. According to the drawing Anderlecht was actually playing first in Austria and then home in Brussels.


Michel Verschueren explained the situation: "It was not our choice. The problem started when also Austria Wien should play at home first. They have priority towards our opponent Rapid Wien and because of that we have to play away first."
