Deschacht misunderstood message from direction board

The direction board confirmed their trust in Vercauteren yesterday. They also claim they informed the players about their decision on Saturday. Though Deschacht publicly asked for clarity after the game against Genk.


Deschacht: "I misunderstood the message that was only given to us in French. I thought they expressed their faith in the trainer before the game against Genk. I didn't know they meant that Vercauteren could stay until the end of the season. I apologise."
