Anderlecht win over Beveren after thriller

Anderlecht survived the tough game on the field of Beveren. The Mauves missed lots of chanced and allowed Beveren to build up a 2-0 lead, but Anderlecht were strong enough to win the game after-all with a 2-3 score.


Beveren started well, and Anderlecht played at a low pace. Kaiper could open the score after 30 minutes when defense failed: 1-0.

After the break, Anderlecht pushed Beveren back, but the Mauves missed several open chances. On a counter-attack, Romaric doubled the score for the home side: 2-0.
The Brussels club switched to an even higher pace now and Beveren had difficulties defending the lead. Aruna brought Anderlecht back after 76 minutes. A bit later, Iachtchouk equalised and Baseggio's shot brought RSCA on a 2-3 lead, which was the final score.
