Herman Van Holsbeeck saw a weak Anderlecht yesterday, but he also noticed some positive things: "We are happy with the victory, but we have to cope with our lack of confidence", the manager said.

"Akin played 90 minutes and scored twice. He's become very important for us. It also showed we can score without Nicolas Frutos."

"We have to make sure Bruges and Standard are staying within range. We're counting on a good second round", concludes Van Holsbeeck. However on the positive side Holsbeeck stressed the importance of the three points, "At this point of the season we have to be above all content with the three points". He was also hopeful that the approaching second half of the season will yield better results
