German striker Oliver Bierhoff offered his services as player to Anderlecht. Manager Michel Verschueren confirmed this. Former-interational Bierhoff led Germany to the European title in 1996 by scoring twice.

He plays for Chievo Verona now and his contract just came to an end. The German player made clear that he wanted to play somewhere else. Today, the club will discuss over the offer of Bierhoff, who is almost 35 years old.
Though the chances are rather small that he'll join the team, because Anderlecht are in the middle of putting younger players in the team. Bierhoff already played for Hamburg, Mönchengladbach, Ascoli, Udinese and AC Milan.
