Lots of scouts followed Lierse-RSCA

As expected, many foreign clubs sent scouts to Lierse-Anderlecht. Manchester United, West Ham, Tottenham, Heerenveen, PSV, Lens, Olympique Marseille, Schalke 04, Leverkusen and Mönchengladbach were all there to scout Aruna Dindane.

Aruna played well and scored the only goal, though the Ivorian wasn't happy with his prestations. "I played a bad game. I scored, but that was the only thing I did."
