RSCA want 14 teams in 1st division

Anderlecht want only 14 clubs in the first division in 2003-2004. That is what chairman Roger Vanden Stock announced on a press conference.

"We will defend our proposal, although there is a great chance that we won't get a majority of the votes for our plan", he said.
Manager Michel Verschueren is still dreaming of a Bene-league (Belgium - Netherlands - Luxembourg (?)). "Besides Anderlecht and PSV, some other clubs are now interested in that idea. It's economically more interesting for the clubs", said Verschueren.
