Manager Michel Verschueren of Anderlecht reacted angry on the elections of the National Football Organisation. He and Van Hove weren't elected for the executive committee.

Today, he's more convinced than ever to start a BeNe-League.
"I'm happy it went this way. Now the big clubs have woken up again. In the next few days, the G5 (Anderlecht, Club, Genk, Standard and Gent) will meet. I'm going for the position of chairman there and they will accept it", Verschueren said.
"I don't want to see the Belgian league dying. That's why we must act hard now".
