It had been 2 years and a half years since Peersman played a league game. Injuries forced him to revalidate and rest for several years. But he's back now!
"For two years I worked on my come-back at high level", said a happy Peersman. "But without Michel Verschueren and scout Peter Ressel I probably wasn't here anymore. I'm greatful that they offered me a new contract last year."
"I didn't realise what happened to me in the first half, but I surely enjoyed the second one", said Peersman.
