though the better chances were for Stabaek, especially when one of their shots hit the bar. Their flank-players were much faster than the Anderlecht defenders.

In the second half, the Mauves played better and scored early when McDonald scored after a corner kick. From then on, the game became inpredictable. The injured Zane was swapped for Kolar. A bit later, Broos recplaced De Bilde by Crasson, to defend the lead.
The game became really exciting when both sides had several good chances. In injury time, Stabaek had to continue the game with ten, after a red card.
