Anderlecht-Lierse ended on a poor 1-2. Lierse came to win, but the first chances were for Anderlecht. though, it was Lierse that scored first. Schaessens' shot disappeared in the goal after a fast counter-attack.

Anderlecht started pushing forward and was rewarded when Seol equalised with a nice header. The Mauves wanted to double the score but De Bilde and Aruna missed two good chances.

After the pause, the game became dirty. Every player with the ball was tackled and referee Vervecken lost control. He even took several doubtful decisions (mostly against RSCA). After a tackle of Vanderhaeghe, there were some riots between the players.
The pace went down and RSCA controled the game. Two minutes in stoppage time, the Anderlecht defense made a mistake and Huysegems scored: 1-2. Anderlecht now are 8 points behind Brugge.
