Jan Polak, the much talked about summer transfer, has not been able to live up to expectations thus far. But there might be hope for improvement. According to his compatriot Daniël Zitka, the Czech midfielder can do much better.

"I saw Polak at training during international duty. At the club, he can seem absent at times, but over there he was very much present. He was a player transformed," said the goalkeeper in Gazet Van Antwerpen.

"Jan plays in a defensive role in midfield, but also as a kind of playmaker on the right," explains Zitka. "He receives the ball numerous times. Polak functions excellent in the international team."
