This afternoon the draw for the Round of 16 of the Belgian Cup took place. Anderlecht was paired with Lokeren. Although second division club Waasland could still take the place of Lokeren.

Waasland have filed a complaint against Lokeren. In their game in the Round of 32, Lokeren would have put too few Belgian-trained players on the sheet. The Executive Comitee of the Belgian Football Federation will look into the matter next Saturday.

The draw arranged for a couple of interesting matches. Racing Genk will have to visit Standard de Liège, while Club Bruges will face neighbours and season revelation Cercle Bruges.

An overview:

Anderlecht - Lokeren/Waasland (II)
Cercle Bruges - Club Bruges
KV Kortrijk (II) - Zulte Waregem
Mons - AA Ghent
G.Beerschot - OH Leuven (II)
Dender - Eendracht Aalst (III)
Roeselare - Charleroi

The Round of 16 will be played on January 12th and 13th.
